Credit card payments

You are here: Control panel > Online Store > Payment Methods > Payment by creditcard

Here you can administer payments with credit cards on your online store. SmartWeb has two possibilities for editing this. With this  button you can edit the settings for the different types of credit cards that you can pay with. Under this button you can edit the settings for the payment method in general.

1. Go to: Control panel > Online store > Payment methods > Click on


2. The different cards that the SmartWeb system can be integrated with is listed here. The amount of cards that your online store can integrate with is depending on your subscription.

3.The fields are described below.
 

  • Payment type: Here is the title for the payment type.

 

  • Logo(s): Here is the logo for the specific type of payment.

 

  • Delivery countries: Here you can choose the delivery countries that you wish this payment method to be available to.

 

  • Sorting: Choose the sequence that you wish the different types of payment cards should be showed in.

 

  • Interval limit DKK from: State a interval limit for the fees that you customer are to pay with the specific credit card. You can e.g. set a limit to a 100 DKK with a fee on 0,5 %. This means that when a customer buys for more than a 100 DKK he/she have to pay 0,5 % of the amount in fees.

 

  • For pensio users: If you use pensio gateway you have to state which terminal that you wish to use for every credit card type.


4. When you are finished click Save and go back to the menu.

5. Click on to edit the payment method in general.



6. The fields are explained below:
 

  • Provider: Choose between the following


               OnPay: This can be ordered through SmartWeb

               DIBS: You have to order and install this solution yourself.

               Pensio: You have to order and install this solution yourself.

               ePay: You have to order and install this solution yourself. Notice that MD5 is no longer
               required when using ePay. This is therefore turned off in the ePay control panel
               automatically. A blank box in the SmartWeb system means that it is also turned off in
               SmartWeb. MD5 provides extra security when the order is placed at ePay.
               
Please note: to not enter a password in ePays' "API/Webservices" controlpanel. Read more about ePay here.

               Quickpay: You have to order and install this solution yourself. You have to insert your
               MerchantID and your MD5 code from Quickpay into the SmartWeb administration.
               You can find this information in Quickpay's control panel.

 

  • 3D Secure: When you activate, an extra security measure is added to the payment process. This means that after the customer has entered the credit card details, the customer will receive a one-time password on sms.

 

  • Lock of card type: Recommended if you have a credit card fee on for example Mastercards, then this function ensures that the fee is collected. For instance if a customer chooses to pay with a Visa Card, but enters the 16-digit Mastercard account number, then this function secures that the transaction gets denied.

 

  • VAT: State if this payment method is with or without VAT.

 

  • Title: Here is the title for the payment method stated.

 

  • Description: Here is the description that is visible for the customer. Notice that you have to write a description for all the language layers.

 

  • Delivery countries: Choose which delivery countries this payment method should be available to.

 

  • User rights: Choose who that should be able to use this payment method. You have the following possibilities:


                 Visible to all: Can be used by ALL people that visits your online store.

                 Visible to guests (not logged in): Can be sued by all visitors that are not logged in.

                 Visible to the main group Customers: Can be used by the customers that are logged
                 in to your online store.

                 Visible to the main group Customers B2B: Can be used by the customer B2B group.

                 Visible to the main group Only newsletter subscribed: Can only be used by those
                 that are subscribed for your newsletter.

                 Visible to the main group Brands/Producers: Can only be used by those that are
                 created as producers.

 

  • Order status upon payment: Choose which status the order should have in the system when the customer has completed a payment.

 

  • Sorting: Choose how the payment methods should be sorted.

 

  • Shop ID: Insert the SHOP ID that you have from your payment gateway. Find it under your Gateway of payment and then settings. You can read more about this here.

     Notice: If you use DIBS then you have to use the DIBS Merchant ID.
 

  • Username and password: Insert your login information to your gateway of payment.

 

  • Test mode: This setting enables you to make test payments. However this is only possible if you use Quickpay. You can read more about this function here.

 


NOTICE: PBS/NETS cannot receive any other currencies than DKK when using American Express.  It is only possible to pay with other currencies if you use EUROLINE. Read more about this here.
